Panaji: Victor Vaz has been left in no doubt that India would have made a “stunning debut” at the Genuine Cup in Houston if all players were available for the tournament.
The 8-a-side Genuine Cup brought more than 1000 athletes with intellectual disabilities and autism, representing 54 teams from 54 countries, in the United States for a week of competition, connection, and community.
An Indian team took part for the first time, to an invitation from Best of You Sports, a based player representation agency, to Special Olympics Goa. The result? Best of You Special Olympics Goa FC, or simply B0YSOG FC.
