Joshua Parulekar a seven year old, intellectually disabled athlete with Autism will be crossing the River Mandovi ,Panjim Goa on the 2nd April 2009, at 8 am, which is also World Autism Day.
He is the son of Dr Vandana and Dr Prassanna Parulekar, and is presently attending the inclusive resource room at Lourdes Convent School ,Saligao, and Goa .
Little Joshua loves the water and has been swimming from the age of two. He has proved to be a natural swimmer and trains regularly at the Peddem swimming pool.
